More than 1 million 600 thousand households have difficulties in one or several elements of their house such as the quality of materials (floor, ceiling, walls), access to drinking water, sanitary service and property rights (secure ownership of the property), overcrowding and in general the precarious housing conditions.
In collaboration with Samael Solórzano, we have worked on a participatory social housing model is developed. From a prototype of sustainable social housing, we can generate other prototypes.
The model is composed of research, education through applied design and innovation, sustainable management of resources, Optimization of the same and advice. Everything is by / for the user. Everything is thanks to the participation of allies.
Our model is a proposal that changes the way of approaching urban housing problems, with a social development approach.
